"Catacombs" is an expansion pack for "Dark Age of Camelot" in which players are given the opportunity to explore underground cities – with attached adventuring areas – based on the backstory of one underground player race per Realm. Many of these new adventures will be instanced, giving the player the chance to explore the underground world of "Catacombs" on their own schedule. The expansion also introduces one new player class per Realm.

Known to players as “account splitting,” it allows players to transfer one or more characters from an existing account to a new account.

Mythic Entertainment announced “Dark Age of Camelot: New Frontiers,” a free downloadable expansion that reinvents the game’s unique Realm vs. Realm combat system, where player characters from the game’s three different Realms engage in life and death struggles across numerous battlegrounds, keeps and through the expansive frontier areas. Mythic plans to make “New Frontiers” available in Q2 2004.

Mythic Entertainment, developer and publisher of Dark Age of Camelot, plans to release a free download-only expansion called Dark Age of Camelot: Foundations that adds player housing to the immensely popular massively multiplayer online role-playing game. The expansion enters closed beta testing this week and will be available for free via optional download to all subscribers in mid-June.

Mythic Entertainment has shipped more than 150,000 copies of Dark Age of Camelot's expansion pack: Shrouded Isles in Europe, due to strong demand throughout the continent. A week after its release in mid-February, Mythic's European distributor Wanadoo reported that more than 60 percent of the units in retail outlets had sold through their copies of Shrouded Isles. In addition, almost 90 percent of the players of the original Dark Age of Camelot have already purchased the expansion pack in Europe. Mythic's Dark Age of Camelot: Shrouded Isles reached the number one spot in entertainment CD-ROM sales in France the week of release, according to GFK, a marketing company, which runs the French consoles and PC software reference panel.

The first official add-on for the massively multiplayer game Dark Age of Camelot, titled Dark Age of Camelot: Shrouded Isles.. This add-on, developed by Mythic Entertainment, will be published and operated by Wanadoo, and will allow European players to log-on the English, French or German servers of Dark Age of Camelot (2 servers for England, 3 for France and 4 for Germany).

Shrouded Isles is the first expansion pack available for Dark Age of Camelot. It extends the storyline of the original game introducing new classes, new races, and three new continents to explore as well as a graphics engine that makes for even more intense game experience..
