Mythic Entertainment today announced the "Dark Age of Camelot" Roundtable Road Trip. The Roundtable Road Trip is a series of monthly fan gatherings throughout the US and Canada. Roundtable Road Trip events will be held in all corners of the U.S. from Seattle to Florida, and from California to New York. Dark Age of Camelot undergoes a major new evolution with this third retail expansion. Launched in the United States in early December by Mythic Entertainment, the developer of the game, ‘Dark Age of Camelot: Catacombs’ will be managed and published in Europe by GOA, France Telecom’s game department. The expansion will be available in the first quarter of 2005 in French, English and German versions, prior to the release in Spring of the whole game and it’s expansions in Spain and Italy.

Mythic Entertainment today announced plans to further extend the game’s international reach. In January 2005, the game will be available in Japanese, in Spring 2005 it will launch in Spain, and will relaunch in Italy and Korea. The game is currently available in English, French, German, Italian and Korean. Each localized version of the game currently contains more than 2 million words of text, equivalent to more than 16 paperback novels.

Mythic Entertainment today released “DAoC: Platinum Edition,” containing the original game and all four expansion packs. The retail expansions, “DAoC: Shrouded Isles” and “DAoC: Trials of Atlantis,” as well as free expansions, “DAoC: Foundations,” and the recently released “DAoC: New Frontiers,” are included in the "Platinum Edition," along with an introductory player’s guide, a one-month free subscription to the game and a complimentary trial copy of the game that players can give to a friend.

"New Frontiers" features revamped geography for each Realm's frontiers as well as updated siege warfare, completely redesigned upgradeable keeps, a Realm War status map, and much more. New travelling systems enable users to get to the action faster with boat service between the frontiers and the ability to teleport directly to a friendly keep.
