Adventure Gamers is reporting that Polish developer Detalion, known for
The Mysterious Journey and
Sentinels: Descendant in Time no more. "Detalion had quietly laid off a significant portion of its staff several months ago, but continued to seek ways to resume operations until this latest move became necessary. According to Maciej Miasik, game producer and co-owner of Detalion, the company still officially exists for the time being, and could yet restart activities if they're successful in their ongoing attempts to secure funding. However, there are no current plans for development of another project, and the outlook is not hopeful."

In "the Mysterious Island" you take control on the team, which consists of different characters and each of them can develop abilities in various fields. At the same time skirmishes with encounter enemies are presented in the same way as in RTS games. Thanks to AI system development element of life-stimulation is much more meaningful and convincing. Algorithms describing characters' behavior are much more complicated and subtle as well. This makes the game outstanding, fascinating and the player can easily get into the swing.
