The past week a rumor was floating around MMO maker NCSoft could be working on its first single-player title, an action/rpg. Today at the start of the Taipei Game Show, Dungeon Runners was revealed. While details are still in short supply, such as whether it is an MMO or single-player product, we did manage to get the first screens. An official announcement should be coming up shortly.

NCsoft Japan's operations will include development and localizations of their games serviced via NCsoft's games service platform, PlayNC, as well as servicing and marketing activities of all NCsoft's games.

NCsoft North America today announced the release of its latest, free, Lineage content expansion pack Episode IV: History and Memory. NCsoft announced an exclusive game development deal with Sony that provides for NCsoft to create several online games for Sony's PlayStation platforms, including PS3 and PSP, accessible through PlayStation Network.
The announcement was made today at the E3 Media and Business Summit taking place in Santa Monica, California.
Although company officials did not divulge any details regarding the names or types of games in development, NCsoft officials did say the games would be created from both existing intellectual properties (IP) owned by NCsoft, as well as new IP.

NCsoft today announced that it is continuing its licensing relationship with Epic Games by licensing Epic’s Unreal Engine 3 technology and tools. NCsoft today announces the latest chapter to its massively multiplayer game, Lineage. Dark Conquest, Episode 3: Life and Death launches today on North American servers. This episode continues the story of the Lastabad Dark Elf army, introducing the group’s headquarters in the Diad Fortress. The fortress is located in the underground region of Lineage’s fictional world of Aden.

A U.S. district court judge in Los Angeles dismissed several key claims by comic book publisher Marvel Enterprises, Inc in the company's trademark and copyright infringement case against online computer game publisher NCsoft Corporation and game developer Cryptic Studios. Marvel sued NCsoft and Cryptic Studios in November of last year, claiming that the City of Heroes online computer game allows players to imitate comic book characters owned by Marvel.

NCsoft today announced the release of an extensive expansion for its MMORPG Lineage II: The Chaotic Chronicle. The expansion, Chronicle 2: Age of Splendor, includes more than 500 megabytes of new features adding three new zones, wondrous underwater areas, rideable mounts, new monsters, items and spells as well as an in-game gambling system consisting of a racetrack, throwing dice and a lottery.
