Though information about it was leaked a few days ago, the PSPgo was officially unveiled this morning at the Sony press conference. Created with portable, pocket-sized gaming in mind, the PSPgo will come with 16GB of internal flash memory and be priced at $249.99 and be available October 2009. Also on display during the event was a prototype controller that will work with the PlayStation Eye to add depth perception to the gaming experience. New red, silver and blue Dualshock 3 controllers will also be available later this year.

At its press conference this morning, Sony announced some major enhancements are coming to the PlayStation Network, including new game content, PSP access to the PSN movie delivery service, agreements with Showtime, Starz, E! and The Weinstein Company for TV, movie, anime and sports content, and a better content manager. Games include Gravity Crash, Hustle Kings and Fat Princess: Fistful of Cake.

At Nintendo's press conference this morning, they announced New Super Mario Bros. Wii, Super Mario Galaxy 2, and Metroid: Other M for the Wii. On the DS side, they revealed Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Minis March Again, Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story, Golden Sun DS, and WarioWare D.I.Y. On the non-game side, Nintendo also announced Facebook integration with DSi and the Wii Vitality Sensor, which will sense the user's pulse and other ... umm, bodily signals.
