Spike and Acquire are bringing Shinobi to the PSP, scheduled for release in Japan end of October. Based on the PS2 version, Shinobi features singleplayer, with 30 playable characters, as well as 4 player Versus multiplayer with 20 playable skins. The Mission Play Mode will allow you to connect to the PS2 and import missions made through the game editor.

Wannabe gangstas can rival it out in the story-driven single-player mode or play online through the wireless multiplayer mode with up to 3 other players. For the first quarter of fiscal 2007, THQ reported net sales of $138.8 million, exceeding expectations of $125.0 million, primarily due to better-than-anticipated sales of Pixar's Cars and MotoGP 2006 videogames. Ubisoft announced sales for the 1st quarter of fiscal year 2006-07, which ended June 30, 2006. Revenue increase from €43M to €70M (62% increase). Although combined profit from the PS2 and PSP businesses was relatively unchanged, operating loss increased primarily as the result of the recording of charges associated with preparation for the launch of the PS3, in addition to continued high research and development costs associated with PS3.
