Brash Entertainment hasn't been living up to the hype it caused when it launched last year, so it comes as no surprise that it is the next victim of the weak economy.
Variety claims Brash has laid off 20 employees, won't be filling open positions, is selling off some of its licenses, and from its slew of upcoming titles, only two remain "active," Six Flags Fun Park (Wii) and next year's SAW. What happened to titles such as Tale of Desperaux, 300, Clash of the Titans, or Prison Break is unknown, and it seems Brash was even working on a Superman game with Factor 5.

Earlier this year an article in Japanese magazine Famitsu claimed Capcom was working on Dead Rising 2, a sequel to 2006's popular zombie shooter. Capcom has yet to official confirm the development but it seems credence has been given to the rumor as Canadian developer Blue Castle Games
revealed that it has been hired by the publisher to work on Dead Rising 2. Blue Castle Games is known for 2K Sports' The Bigs, and is currently also working on MLB Front Office Manager.
