A proposed bill being voted on this week by the European Union would give governments authorization to deem certain software illegal to be used on the internet. The
new anti-piracy rules would put in effect a Europe-wide three strikes law, giving three warning to people suspected of sharing copyrighted files, eventually banning offenders from accessing the internet. Needless to say organizations such as Foundation for a Free Internet and various law firms are already up in arms.

Metal Gear Online features characters, stages and the same control scheme as MGS 4, with additional environments, game modes and team-based multiplayer mayhem for up to 16 players. Last week we revealed Japanese gamers got a new DLC (adding new characters, 3 maps and a survival mode), but so far North American gamers will have to be content with a new patch adding the Team Sneaking mode (use stealth to infiltrate the enemy base and destroy a target within), and a Headshots Only setting (your game's rank point awards drops when NOT making headshots)
