Last night SEGA gathered the press in San Francisco to announce its multi-title agreement with Platinum Games (former Capcom/Clover developers). An expansion to Warhammer: Mark of Chaos for the PC, Warhammer: Mark of Chaos - Battle March builds upon the game's tactical foundation to offer new units for each army as well as an original campaign and new online modes. The Xbox 360 version, a standalone game that also include the original content from Warhammer: Mark of Chaos, is scheduled for later this year.

Blast Works: Build, Fuse & Destroy, is a frenetic geometric side-scrolling shooter that lets players craft the game to their liking by building their own levels, ships and enemy ships. Codemastes has released a demo for its twisted fantasy game on PlayStation Network.

Back in 2006 Texas based Anascape Ltd. filed suit against Nintendo and Microsoft for infringing on one of its patents (3D controller with vibration) it had filed in 2000. While Microsoft immediately settled out of court, Nintendo decided to go all the way and fight the lawsuit. Now Federal court has ruled in favor of Anascape and awarded it a settlement of $21 million. Nintendo plans to file an appeal in order to reduce the penalty.
