I'm battling my way through the game and i must admit ... i am impressed! The graphics are great .. the AI is good, the animations are crisp and above all .. the level design is fabulous ... tricky, hard, and big levels ... a few more days patience people ... it is da coming! LucasArts Entertainment Company LLC will unleash the power of the Force on the Xbox video game system this May with the release of Star Wars Jedi Starfighter. The game, which launched to critical acclaim last week on PlayStation 2, will give Xbox gamers a chance to experience the exhilaration of piloting the Jedi starfighter from the upcoming film Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones.

LucasArts Entertainment Company LLC today announced its upcoming role playing game (RPG), Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic, will debut on the Xbox video game system this fall and release on PC early 2003. Developed by BioWare Corp., the dramatic game features an original story set some 4,000 years prior to the timeframe of the Star Wars films in an era dominated by an epic conflict between the Jedi and the evil Sith.

LucasArts Entertainment Company LLC is pleased to announce that STAR WARS Jedi Starfighter (PlayStation2) has Gone Gold and is now approved for manufacturing. Jedi Starfighter will hit shelves the week of March 11th!

Star Wars Starfighter takes players on an epic journey that begins on Naboo and continues through the climactic assault on a Droid Control Ship. The game takes full advantage of the PC's robust graphic capabilities and features more than 20 beautifully-rendered 3D starships amidst 14 incredible environments set in air and space. Gamers can look forward to bonus missions, two-player games, a two-player dog-fighting mode, and two-player capture-the-flag arenas. Westwood Studios announced today that Academy Award Winner Doug Chiang, Design Director for Star Wars Episodes I and II has joined the Earth and Beyond Online team as a consultant and will be providing concept art for all of the player space ships in the game. Earth and Beyond Online is Westwood's first massively-multiplayer game and will be published under the EA GAMES brand this summer. Westwood is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Electronic Arts.

Gamespot let us know that the PC version of LucasArts' space-combat action game Star Wars Starfighter has gone gold and will arrive in stores next week. The game was first released last February on the Sony PlayStation 2, and a special edition of the game for the Microsoft Xbox was released in November. The game lets players participate in a number of missions to save the Naboo from the Trade Federation, ending in an assault on a droid control ship. It features more than 20 detailed spaceships and 14 3D environments in both air and space.
