SEGA isn't stopping with the upcoming Sonic Unleashed or Bioware's Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood, as the latest issue of Nintendo Power reveals that a yet another Sonic installment is in the works, specifically for the Wii. The game was not part of any E3 lineup, so details on Sonic and the Black Knight are as good as nonexistent. The front cover of the magazine shows Sonic carrying a big sword. Hopefully we'll get to more info at the Leipzig Games Convention or Tokyo Game Show later this year.

JoWooD Productions presents their upcoming products at Games Convention 2008 in Leipzig which includes Gothic 3: Forsaken Gods, The Guild 2: Venice, Agatha Christie: Evil Under The Sun on the Wii, and several behind closed doors titles.
Valkyria Chronicles, known in Japan as Valkyria of the Battlefield, is set in a fictitious continent reminiscent of 1930s Europe - divided in two and ruled by the Empire and the Federation. The game follows a hero named Welkin and his fellow soldiers of the Federation’s 7th Platoon as they engage in a series of epic battles.

Originally scheduled for release last year, when Microsoft decided to increase the Xbox Live Arcade allowed file size, The Behemoth decided to delay the game in order to add even more content.

rolled out new PlayStation Store content starting with a demo for NARUTO: Ultimate Ninja Storm, 8bit Games' elephant herding puzzle game Elefunk (free demo/$4.99 for the full game), or fans of the PSOne classic Rayman can get the full game ($5.99) for the PS3/PSP. There are of course also the usual game/movie trailers, E3 trailers, PS3 themes and wallpapers.

According to the latest issue of Famitsu, Capcom is bringing 2006's X360 zombie slasher to the Wii, albeit it with several changes. The photography feature has been replaced by a new camera system making the game more action/object oriented. The original's time-lapsed gameplay, causing a lot of players grief due to the frequent dying/shoddy save system, has been removed. Currently only scheduled for release in Japan, end of the year.

Hungary based developer StormRegion, known for RTS titles such as Codename Panzers and Rush for Berlin, was acquired by German publisher 10tacle Studios in 2007. Due to recent financial troubles of its parent company we may never see the release of Codename: Panzers Cold War, the third installment in the series, as rumors have it that the developer ceased to pay salaries in April 2008, lost all of its employees and was forced to shut it main office in Budapest. StormRegion was also working on a sci-fi turn-based strategy Mytran Wars for PSP for Deep Silver.

interview with Adventure Classic Gaming, Step Creative Group lead game designer Ilya Chudakov revealed that the Russian developer has shut down again (the previously closed doors in mid 90s) but publisher Akella will continue the localization of SCG's sci-fi adventure game based on the novel by the Strugatsky brothers.
