Gears of War 2 picks up six months after the events of the original, and thrusts players back into a deep and harrowing story of humankind's epic battle for survival against a nightmarish force of underground creatures known as the Locust Horde. Microsoft's pre-E3 briefing began with a roundup of some of their upcoming triple-A titles, and moved on to discuss their new dashboard and several new functionalities for Xbox Live. If one thing was emphasized over the course of the briefing, it was a renewed focus on cooperative play. Many of the games that were shown were either party games meant for multiple players or otherwise introduced an unexpected cooperative element for an upcoming title.

EA revealed NBA Live 09's Dynamic DNA, which emulates an NBA player in every sense of the word with daily online updates throughout the season via the NBA Live 365. EA Online gives gamers the ability to store profile such as likes, dislikes, friends and achievements across all games and platforms. New, more powerful, back-end tools will make micro-transactions a bigger part of the gaming experience, while Rupture will allow you to track and challenge friends across all games and gaming platforms.

Fueled with fury, SEGA’s The Incredible Hulk features key moments from the film, as well as additional plot lines and characters from the character’s rich comic-book universe. Players smash through New York City, battling gigantic enemies amidst soaring skyscrapers in a massive open world.

Atlus U.S.A.'s Master of the Monster Lair is a dungeon-designing, monster-hunting RPG adventure. In order to trap the freeloading monsters of South Arc, you must become the architect of a vast labyrinth, crafting intricate levels designed to lure and capture all manner of beasts.

LOL is played by one of the players making a challenge in writing to the others. The crazier the challenge, the more fun everyone will have. The person who delivered the challenge chooses an appropriate time limit, and everyone has to answer the challenge on their touch screen however they see fit – with words, pictures, or whatever comes to mind.

Introducing a more lethal and cunningly efficient Bond, the game blends first-person action with a third-person cover combat system that allows players to feel what it is like to be the ultimate secret agent. Seamlessly blending the heart-pounding action and excitement of the “Quantum of Solace” film with the “Casino Royale” movie, the title propels players into the cinematic experience of international espionage.

For the first time players can engage with the wild world of animals in their natural surroundings in an immersive and tactile way. In this game you are challenged to engage, touch, move and try to control a wide range of animals as you journey deeper and deeper into the forest.

Electronic Arts announced that it has signed an agreement with id Software to publish RAGE. Built on id Software’s newest game engine, id Tech5, RAGE is an all-new take on the first-person shooter.

Club Penguin: Elite Penguin Force will introduce kids to all new adventures in the Club Penguin world, giving players a chance to complete secret agent missions, solve mysteries and connect with friends in new ways. The game allows players to take on the role of a covert agent in the Elite Penguin Force.

Fallout 3 places a player in the role of a Vault-dweller, who ventures from his secluded, underground survival Vault into a post-apocalyptic world of mutants, radiation, gangs and violence. At the Microsoft briefing Bethesda's Todd Howard revealed that the Xbox 360 and PC editions of Fallout 3 will receive "substantial" downloadable content.

A slew of changes was announced at Microsoft's press briefing earlier today, including an arrangement with Netflix and the previous PS3-exclusive Final Fantasy XIII coming to the X360. Other additions include the availability of playable game shows — including 1 vs. 100, Lips, You're in the Movies, and Scene It? Box Office Smash — creation of player avatars, and an Xbox Live interface overhaul.

Harmonix and MTV Games unveiled the set list of more than 80 on-disc songs for Rock Band 2. The title will also feature an online World Tour mode, Tour Challenges, a Battle of the Bands mode that lets bands face off against other bands, and customizable set lists. It'll be backward compatible with previous Rock Band downloadable music content, and support for third-party peripherals.

Konami will release the first expansion pack for its Metal Gear Online title on July 17th. Entitled Metal Gear Online Gene Expansion, the download adds new maps, characters and a game mode to the existing game.
