Namco Bandai announced Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Heroes 2 - The Phantom Fortress, continuing the frantic, action-packed, one-on-one battles for which the series is known. The game also introduces a new storyline based on the Naruto animated series from VIZ Media, as well as a roster of more than 20 characters and frantic head-to-head multiplayer action with game-sharing capabilities.

In response to online survey findings, Sony Online Entertainment today announced the G.I.R.L. scholarship program (Gamers in Real Life) with The Art Institutes that's designed to educate and recruit more women into the video game industry. The prize is a $10,000 tuition scholarship for The Art Institutes school at which winner is currently enrolled and a paid internship of up to 10 weeks at an SOE studio. The entry deadline is May 31, 2008.

Capcom today confirmed that Devil May Cry 4, the latest installment in the Devil May Cry series, has shipped over two million units worldwide since its recent release for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. A PC version of the game will be released in the coming months.
