DivX announced that its video technology will be integrated into Sony's PS3, allowing it to play video files encoded with the popular video codec.

The Official Xbox Magazine reveals the upcoming fall X360 firmware update, launching Dec. 4, will supposedly allow you to download original Xbox titles through the Marketplace. For 1200 Microsoft points, you will initially be able to get titles such as the original Halo, Burnout 3, Crimson Skies, Fable and Fahrenheit. The Films on Demand feature will allow you to "rent" a movie instead of having to buy it, giving you two weeks to initiate the movie after rental and 24 hours to complete it.
