Belgian magazine PCGameplay has the
first Dawn of War 2 details, revealing it uses an updated Essence 2.0 engine (used in Company of Heroes), Havok physics, optimized for DX10, multicore support, improved AI for awareness and pathfinding, as well as co-op campaign. Set in highly detailed city landscape, deserts, jungles, mountains and other cities, DoW2 plans to make units & squads unique (following you throughout the game) by giving them individual names, with armor, weapons, and rare objects being awarded for completing missions. So far Orkz and Space Marines races were revealed, but more will surely to follow.
