A spiritual sequel to John Woo's action movie Hard Boiled, Stranglehold redefines the action gaming experience with its acrobatic gunplay, thrilling cinematography, frenetic combat and massive destructibility. Last week, it was revealed that a PS3 & PC demo were coming, and while the former was indeed released, the latter wasn't. The rumors that a bug-ridden demo might not get released turns out to be unfounded, as Midway PR confirmed that it still plans to release it, "hopefully in the next week or so."

online speculations, SCEA is expected to further drop the price of its recently released 80 GB PS3 SKU to $499 this holiday season, as well as possibly introducing another new 40GB model, for $399. At a
GameStop manager meeting in Las Vegas, it was revealed that the Wii Zapper is going to make its debut later this year for $19,99. This by itself is not Earth-shattering, but it seems the device comes with a new Zelda title, Zelda Crossbow Training. It's not a completely new title in the franchise, but it seems Nintendo is including it as a mini-game to show off the Wii Zapper, using the Twilight Princess engine.
