The latest Famitsu issue reveals that Hudson is working on an all-new Wii-exclusive sports title similar to Wii Sports. Featuring 10 activities Deca Sports will fully use the Nunchuk/Wiimote to control your Mii like characters, single, as well as multiplayer. So far seven categories are confirmed: Archery, Go Karting, Motocross, Volleyball, Football, Basketball and Badminton, while three are kept secret although the good word is they might be Speed Skating, Ice Hockey and Snowboarding.

Revealed last week Microsoft officially announced a retail price drop for its Xbox 360 consoles in Europe, and launched the Xbox 360 Elite (€449,99). From Friday, 24th August 2007, the 20 GB Xbox 360 will be reduced by €50 to €349,99, while the Core version (no HD) will be reduced €20 to €279,99.

Already revealed by SEGA's Universe at War Live compatibility on Vista/XP, Microsoft's official
Gamerscore blog confirms it is indeed working on bringing the Games for Windows Live service to XP. The development team first wanted to get the service working on Microsoft's newest OS to support Halo 2 and Shadowrun, but now that both titles are out, work on finalizing GfWL on XP has commenced. Gears of War, which is Vista/XP compatible, will support the Live service on both platforms.

While Level 5 are still working on bringing the newest Dragon Quest IX title the the NDS, several of its prequels, DQ IV, V and VI to be precise, are also getting converted to the NDS, with full 3D graphics. Scheduled for release this winter in Japan, no word whether Square Enix will be bringing it to Europe and/or North America.
