NCSoft is preparing to announce a fourth and final expansion to its MMORPG Guild Wars,
Eye of the North, adding mostly content for high-level players, such as new multi-level dungeons, new armor sets, new skills and additional Heroes. During a Morgan Stanley investor conference Electronic Arts' outgoing chief executive Larry Probst said the publisher expects Sony's 10 year console market dominance to slip in the current hardware war, mainly due to the year lead by Microsoft, and the much cheaper Wii with its innovative Wiimote controller. Now here is an interesting rumor... According to unidentified
insider sources, EALA has recently pitched the idea of bringing the Crysis engine in-house to develop what is said to be a new FPS in the C&C universe. While it is only speculation at this point, the chances are extremely high according to the source, but whether this will be a sequel to the failed C&C Renegade, or an all-new IP was not disclosed.
