Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 will feature changing climate, improved AI, an advanced Cross-Com system, air strikes from jet fighters, new weapons and a new soldier class, the Medic. Ubisoft will release a multiplayer demo next week Friday, June 7, 2007, featuring the PC exclusive Calavera map, playable in the Recon vs. Assault mode. Activision released its fiscal year 2007 results revealing profits. Net revenue was up compared to last year, but although Q4 2007 sales and revenue doubled, they still turned a net loss of $14.4M. The conference call was more interesting, with Activision confirming Enemy Territory: Quake Wars and Guitar Hero Rocks The 80s scheduled for July-Sept., while Call of Duty 4, a new Marvel title (probably Spider-Man: Friend or Foe), Guitar Hero III, Tony Hawk, and Bee Movie are all due later this fall. The next James Bond title is a ways off in 2008, along with other new IPs.
