SCEE today announced that its PSP will be launched in Europe on 1st September 2005, available in a single version Value Pack, priced at €249 (£179). The PSP Value Pack contains the PSP with a pouch, 32MB Memory Stick Duo, Battery Pack, Headphones with Remote Control, AC Adaptor, Wrist Strap, cloth and a video/music/game sampler Universal Media Disc including several non-interactive game demos.

Today DICE announced it will be bringing its upcoming Battlefield 2 Modern Combat console title also to Sony PSP handheld. It is planned for a first quarter 2006 debut. Digital Illusions licenses the right to develop Modern Combat for PSP to EA's studio in Great Britain.

Having just released Pirates of the Caribbean and Kill Bill Vol. 1, Disney revealed it plans to release an additional 10 movies over the next 3 months. First up are National Treasure, Reign Of Fire and Hero, followed by titles such as Tron, King Arthur, Hostage and Cursed. end of the summer you can expect Kill Bill Vol. 2, Gone in 60 Seconds: The Director's Cut, From Dusk Till Dawn and Armageddon. Disney is currently the only other company besdies Sony to release movies on UMD, but talks with Fox and Lions Gate are underway. Read more details

A few weeks ago, Bandai revealed the next title in the Dragon Ball Z franchise, Dragon Ball Z Sparking! Developed by Spike, the action game will be in full 3D and feature over 40 characters, including Sangoku, Vegeta and Janemba. Combat will take place in the air, on the ground, and have an over-the-shoulder perspective. After only confirming a fall 2005 release date in Japan, Bandai now also revealed that Sparking will be released in North America & Europe. GameStop has a DBZ game listed for November 15 release, although the full title isn't specified.

"We're pleased to confirm that Bohemia Interactive will be at this year's E3. One hundred years have passed since the evil Sorcerer Zarok was defeated at the Battle of Gallowmere, heroically cut down by a mortally wounded Sir Daniel Fortesque.
