In an on-camera interview with Swedish GameReactor, Gearbox's Randy Pitchfork revealed that Aliens is making great progress and is currently scheduled for next-gen "platforms" in 2009. The focus of the game will be on the colonial marines battling the acid-spewing aliens. Talks with Aliens RPG developer Obsidian have taken place, but both titles have since gone in different directions.
