In-game advertisement pioneers Massive,
acquired by Microsoft in May 2006, lost two of its founding fathers CEO Mitch Davis, and president of new media, Nichola Longano have resigned and will leave end of this month. While no specific reason for the departure was given Davis stated that Pursuing entrepreneurial start-ups has always been his passion, and that Massive is currently well positioned in the in-game advertising industry. Business development veteran Cory Van Arsdale is now in charge.

Originally known in Japan as Sengoku Musou Wave, KOEI confirmed that its Wii exclusive sword fighting title has been renamed to Sengoku Musou Slash, and will be coming to North America as Samurai Slash, somewhere later this year. Yesterday Sony sent out a media blast to the press touting that it had just won an Emmy for its SIXAXIS wireless controller in the Peripheral Development and Technogical Impact of Video Game Controllers category. Apparently Sony deceived the press en masse as it not only did NOT win an Emmy for the PS3 controller, but rather for its old Dual Shock analog controller, it is also
sharing the Emmy with Nintendo for its D-Pad.
