Sony released its 3rd quarter results revealing it has shipped 1.8 million units, and while revenue was up nearly 10%, its overall income dropped 5%. PS2 and PSP hardware sales dropped, and overall software sales also declined, although the sale of PSP titles in particular was up. As a results Sony Games division recorded a $455 million loss, compared to $570 million income last year.

Xing Interactive announced its latest title, Hole in One Minigolf, a golf game runs on WinXP and Vista and is designed for easy localisation. As the name might suggest it is a Minigolf game and it features splendid 3D gameplay. There are over 60 holes to play for both experts and beginners.

Slitherine announced that it is to work closely with the Lordz Game Studio, a mod team turned professional developers, on its first commercial title, a historical strategy game set during the Napoleonic wars.
