NFS-Planet has a transcript of a community chat with EA Assistant Producer Scott Nielsen in where he confirms the next NFS title will be NFS Underground 2. During the chat he revealed several details on what to expect in the sequel such as : possibility for replay and observer/spectator mode, better online/cheat security, most likely no track editor, larger amount of online slots (NFS:U only had 4), better and more realistic physics, an expanded car list, option to turn off collisions, overhaul of the chat system/interface, better damage model. More info and the first screens are expected to be released at E3.

Space Hack is a sci-fi RPG/action title with Diablo-inspired gameplay mechanics. The storyline puts you on board of a quite 'peculiar' spaceship, trapped inside a space warp. The U.S. Army announced today that it has teamed with Ultimate Arena to hold the AMD America's Army: Special Forces Tournament at E3. The tournament will be run by Ultimate Arena and supported by Even Balance's PunkBuster. On June 7, Nintendo is going totally retro with a classic collection of eight Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) games for the GBA and a tubular new GBA SP that looks like an itty bitty NES console. The `80s were, like, a long time ago. But everything from then is way cool again. Back then, games went from blocky bleeps and bloops to sweet side-scrollers like Super Mario Bros. Last week gamers who purchased Ubisoft's Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow for the Xbox, experienced an Xbox Live problem, today Ubisoft issued the following statement : "Some gamers who acquired the Xbox version of Ubisoft's critically acclaimed Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow have experienced problems using the game's online multiplayer features. Specifically, after logging onto Xbox Live and selecting the "optimatch" function, players discovered that waiting for more than about 10 seconds on the optimatch results screen causes the game to freeze indefinitely."
