Freedom Games has just released a new patch for G.I. Combat, updating their 3D war game to v1.02d. This patch requires you to "reinstall" your GI Combat game from scratch as the patch cannot be applied to the most recent v1.01 (unless you never upgraded to begin with). Interplay and Vivendi Universal Games today announced the development of the sci-fi video game Run Like Hell for the Xbox video game system from Microsoft. This survival horror game previously released on the Sony PlayStation2 has been modified to take full advantage of the Xbox technology, including in game support of Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound to accompany the state-of-the art 3D environments. In addition to expanding the existing gameplay area, an exclusive new level has also been created, as well as downloadable content that will be available via Xbox Live. Run Like Hell for the Xbox will be available in the spring of 2003.
