Encore today announced that it will publish a Game Boy Advance version of Marvel's Daredevil™ that will release in conjunction with the February 2003 premiere of the highly anticipated New Regency/Marvel Studios/20th Century Fox Daredevil movie starring Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner. The sidescrolling action game will incorporate many elements of the feature film including its characters, costumes, and Hell's Kitchen, New York setting.

Midway announced today that Rodney Matthews, a world-renowned fantasy and science fiction illustrator, has created artwork and concepts for Midway's groundbreaking action and fantasy console videogame, Haven: Call Of The King, which is scheduled to ship Nov. 18 for the PS2. Haven: Call Of The King is also scheduled to ship for the Xbox and GameCube in 2003. Haven: Call Of The King is being developed by acclaimed U.K.-based developer, Traveller's Tales.

Ubi Soft Entertainment today announced that it has shipped the puzzle action game Worms Blast for Nintendo GameCube and PCs, to U.S. retail stores. Worms Blast features all of your favorite Worms characters and 14 gameplay modes to choose from as you use your water cannon to clear puzzles and collect special weapons to take out opponents. Worms Blast is rated "E" for everyone and has an MSRP of $39.99 for GameCube and $19.99 for PC.

Ubi Soft Entertainment today announced the launch of the dedicated Web site for its highly anticipated, officially licensed Rocky game. Rocky for the PlayStation2 , Xbox, Nintendo GameCube, and GameBoy Advance console is scheduled for release in November.

Jester Interactive has teamed up with Perfecto Records for their forthcoming product Music 3. Jester will have access to the whole of Perfecto's catalogue, which contains artist such as Timo Maas and Paul Oakenfold. Both companies will work closely together on the promotion of the product, which will hopefully include appearances and interviews from their roster of artists for PR. Both Timo and Oakenfold are massive gamers and were very keen to get involved in the project.

Japan-based videogame publishing powerhouse Kemco and comic book giant DC Comics announced together that they will create a limited edition, two-part comic book that will serve as a prequel to the storyline of Kemco's upcoming action/adventure title, "Batman: Dark Tomorrow." THQ Inc. and JAKKS Pacific, Inc. today announced the North American release of their newest World Wrestling Entertainment (NYSE:WWE) licensed video game, "WWE Raw" for the PC. "WWE Raw" allows players to go one-on-one with high-flying athletes and brutal brawlers in a variety of match types based on the poplar cable program that airs every Monday night on The Nashville Network. Videogame sales of THQ/JAKKS World Wrestling Entertainment license have exceeded more than $300 million in the U.S. since 1999.
