Research firm Peter D. Hart Research Associates today released results from a recently conducted survey regarding the Entertainment Software Rating Board ratings. Parents continue to overwhelmingly agree with computer and video game ratings assigned by the ESRB, as parents agree with the ratings 82% of the time, while another 5% of the time they think the ratings are "too strict."

F.E.A.R. is an intense first person close-quarters combat experience with rich atmosphere and an engaging, paranormal horror storyline. Various people have complained about problems with the latest v1.02 patch that they could no longer start up the game due to the securom copy protection. While it still does not seem to resolve all issues with the game, Securom has issued a hotfix to address "some" of the issues, such as problems were the exe was sitting in taskmanager without actually launching the game, or the need to alt+tab in order to play online. During a Nintendo press conference, Spanish website
Meristation received information from a Ubisoft spokes person that Ubisoft Canada (team behind Beyond Good & Evil) is working on a FPS for Nintendo's next-gen Revolution console, to be unveiled at E3 2006. While details are obviously limited the website claims that the unnamed title will take full advantage of the Revolution's unique controller and that it will take place in a Doom-like environment.

Age of Empires III is an RTS set in 1500 A.D. and chronicles the Age of Discovery that started around the time that Columbus discovered the new world.
Ensemble revealed that it is working on a new v1.02 patch which will address hardware compatibility issues, sound stuttering issues, fixes for Direct3D, Stability and Crash Issues, hotkey Editor. On top of that, Ensemble is trying to include 5 maps based on current ones available in the game, just made larger.
