In a
Dungeon Siege II post mortem interview over at IGN, Gas Powered Games' Chris Taylor revealed that they are indeed interested in expanding the DS franchise or creating another enty, whether that be a third iteration or addon to the DS II title, while still working on Supreme Commander. Oddly enough Chris also makes a mention of the recent MMO success, probably hinting at World of Warcraft, saying they are cooking up something "new and exciting here." To be continued...

Gran Turismo developer Polyphony Digital announced today it is currently working on another racing game for the PS2. Tourist Trophy will be the real riding simulator as its subtitle implies and will try to compete with other motorcycle franchises such as the MotoGP series. TT will features fully customizable bikes from the 80s and 90s, with models from top brands such as Honda, Suzuki, Kawasaki etc. While details are still slim, Tourist Trophy is scheduled for release in Japan early 2006. Square Enix today revealed that it is working on a new title in their Grandia franchise. Unlike previous installments the new product will be an MMORPG, bringing the series online for the very first time. Under development at Gung Ho Entertainment, in collaboration with Game Arts, Grandia Online is currently schedule for release on the PC, although with nextgen consoles going full out with online capabilities it might be possible that we will see console ports in the distant future.

Lumines creator Tetsuya Mizuguchi has unveiled his newest PSP creation, Every Extend Extra. As with most of his other titles gameplay and music are closely intertwined and are equally important in the game experience. E3 is a mix between shoot'm up and strategy, as you have to provoke chain reactions by avoiding enemy fire. Not too many details were disclosed yet, but Every Extend Extra is expected in Japanese stores January 2006, so more will be revealed in the near future.
