Majesco today released its financial results for Q1 2005, and the included release schedule reveals that Glyphx's epic action game Advent Rising is once again getting pushed back. Initially scheduled for fall 2004, it was
pushed back to Q1 2005, and now it has been further delayed until Q3 2005. Other Majesco titles are still on track: Psychonauts (Q2 2005), Jaws (summer), Infected (fall 2005), Advent Shadow (Q3 2005), Phantom Dust (March 2005), and last, but not least, Raze's Hell (Q2 2005).

SEGA Europe today announced that the company has acquired the hugely successful development studio, The Creative Assembly. During SEGA's Sonic the Hedgehog induction into the Walk of Game tonight, it was revealed with a brief trailer that SEGA is working on a new title in the franchise, but this time the focus will be on Sonic's sworn enemy, Shadow. While no details were disclosed, it will be yet another platformer, albeit with some twists, and the clip showed environments and gave you a taste of what to expect, graphics-wise. Shadow the Hedgehog is scheduled for fall 2005, and SEGA promised there will be more information about "several" new Sonic titles. Read more to download the trailer and see for yourself.
