SNK Playmore announced today that they have shipped KOF: Maximum Impact - Maniax, the first original the King of Fighters 3D title for the Xbox. KOF: Maximum Impact - Maniax will have a host of new, innovative features created exclusively for Xbox users, including a 128 player tournament mode on Xbox Live where KOF fans can play and challenge the rest of the world.

Blitz Games has today announced its latest high-profile project, Pac-Man World 3. Pac-Man World 3 combines contemporary platform game mechanics with traditional Pac-Man play principles, and features Pac-Man staples including Power Pellets, Pac-Dots, Pac-Chains and fruit while adding new elements such as a Pactrometer, power-up smoothies and several new special moves. Players will even get to play as ghosts Pinky and Clyde, who each have distinctive special abilities.

Creature Labs announced today the development of two PC CD-ROM titles based on a couple of Namco's most popular characters from the golden age of the arcades. The two titles MS. PAC-MAN Quest for the Golden Maze™ and DIG DUG Deeper™, have been developed for Infogrames by Creature Labs Ltd in the United Kingdom. Both games have jut been released in North America this month, and are planned for UK and Pan-European release in February 2002.
