Vivendi today announced its talent line-up for The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction. Atari have teamed up yet again with music team Nimrod for Act of War: Direct Action. Following Nimrod’s Driv3r soundtrack they were challenged to create a techno-thriller score suitable for Act of War that rivalled the impact of the great Hollywood film scores of the same genre. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, THQ and SCi today announced the talent line-up secured for the Constantine videogame, which is based on the upcoming film from Warner Bros. Pictures, set for release in February 2005, and the DC Comics/Vertigo Hellblazer graphic novels. Keanu Reeves, Tilda Swinton, Gavin Rossdale and Max Baker have their likeness recreated in the game and, players will be able to assume the title role of the film's protagonist John Constantine (Reeves) in the game.

AllintheGame Ltd, casting and recording The Mummy for Hip Interactive in London last week, were lucky enough to secure the services of US actor Corey Johnson, who played Daniels in the first Mummy movie .... the session featured a stellar UK and US cast in an intensive 8 hour video dubbing session. Said Voice Producer and Casting Director Phil Morris, "This was the first game we have worked on where we have had to do lip sync work to the equivalent quality of The Mummy cartoon series, with sound-alike actors matching the character roles in the TV cartoon. This demonstrates that developers and publishers can record games based on movie and TV licences in the heart of London, without having to stretch to a Hollywood cast and budget.........

Atari today announced it has signed New York Times best-selling author R.A. Salvatore to develop the storyline for its upcoming action adventure video game, Forgotten Realms: Demon Stone, which will also feature the extraordinary talents of actors Patrick Stewart and Michael Clarke Duncan, who will lend their voices to two prominent roles in the video game. Demon Stone, which is scheduled for release in Fall 2004, is set in the popular Dungeons & Dragons world created by Wizards of the Coast. Demon Stone is being developed by Stormfront Studios, creators of The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, for the PS2 & Xbox.

BAM! Entertainment today announced that its first title for the Xbox video game system from Microsoft, Chase: Hollywood Stunt Driver, has gone gold and will be the first published title from Microsoft's Incubator Program when it reaches retail shelves later this month. The title was developed by South African-based I-Imagine Interactive, which became the first independent developer in the world to be signed up with Microsoft's Incubator Program and is the only licensed Xbox developer on the African continent.
