Consumer Products has awarded the company a license to develop a Game Boy Advance title featuring the three mischievous, ever-scheming neighborhood friends seen daily on Cartoon Network's hit animated series Ed, Edd n Eddy. The title is anticipated to ship in Fall 2002.

BAM! Entertainment today announced that it will spotlight several top European and Japanese PlayStation 2 titles this week during the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3). THQ Inc. today unveiled the next game in its "Evil Dead" franchise at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles. Today at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), Microsoft Corp. became the first video game company ever to announce a comprehensive online game service fully dedicated to fast-action, always-connected broadband gaming experiences. The online console gaming service, named Xbox Live, launches in North America, Japan and Europe this fall for the Xbox video game system and ramps up with consumer beta programs starting this summer.

Electronic Arts today announced that The Sims is in development for the PS2, at the company's Walnut Creek-based Maxis studio in conjunction with Austin-based, Edge of Reality, Ltd. Players will now be able to create and control their Sims like never before with all new level-based game play, two-player mode, and dynamic 3D graphics. The #1 PC game of all time will make its console debut this fall and will be unveiled to industry insiders on May 22nd at the Electronic Entertainment Exposition in Los Angeles.
