Dungeons & Dragons Online will provide players with the definitive online "Dungeons & Dragons" experience, complete with dramatic dungeon crawling, terrifying monster combat and challenging puzzles, character advancement and guild-based power struggles.

In Gods and Heroes, players become classic heroes of the ancient world, born of immortal blood. As a scion of the gods, each player will have the opportunity to pursue his destiny through a series of Epic Quests that will span all levels of gameplay, over time commanding amazing God Powers and acquiring famous weapons and treasure of myth. Originally scheduled for October 2005, this community update reveals that it has been postponed, without a specific date, to 2006.

Valve's SteamPowered website has been updated with details regarding the latest update for its online delivery system Steam. This release mainly involved bug fixes, gameplay & graphical tweaks, anti-cheating measures, and reduced maximum number of players on a server to 32 for DoD:Source.
