About The Incredible Hulk #1

This comic tells the story of the Hulk's origins: Bruce Banner, a military scientist, is about to test a new "Gamma Bomb" when he notices that a young boy has wandered onto the test site. When Banner races out to save the boy, the bomb explodes, and Banner is exposed to a high dose of gamma rays. The accident doesn't immediately change him, but as the rest of the story unfolds, Banner discovers that certain environmental circumstances (varying from sundown to emotional distress) would trigger his transformation from ordinary man into a large gray beast with superhuman strength.
