Crusaders: Thy Kingdom Come tells the story of this great campaign through the eye of a chosen knight, and chronicles his struggles to rise higher among the ranks, combining character development and challenging mission-to-mission gameplay with a historically accurate background. Your chosen hero arrives to the colossal walls of Constantinople as a simple crusader and in the months to come he will rise to the level of fame where royal heads rival for his services… until he becomes one of the leaders who lay siege to the Holy City itself.

Crusaders: Thy Kingdom Come is a real time strategy game that will take you to the birth of the Crusader States, a chronicle of the trials and tribulations of the first crusaders and recreates its most important battles. March with the crusaders towards Jerusalem and fight on the magnificent battlefields of the faraway lands, from the Mediterranean pine forests to the barren rocky deserts of the Holy Land. Face the dangers of the raging sandstorms, lead secret ambushes in the dead of the night and storm mighty walls with your siege engines. Due to the realistic environment simulation in Crusaders: Thy Kingdom Come you will have to take all these factors into account to win the battle.

Crusaders: Thy Kingdom Come offers highly varied and topographically diverse terrains, with hills, valleys, forests, rivers or ruins. First of all, topographic elements are not just lifeless background scenes, but they heavily influence the tactics and the outcome of the battles. The terrains presented in the game will also evoke the atmosphere of the faraway lands where the crusaders marched towards Jerusalem – from the Mediterranean pine forests to the barren rock deserts of the Holy Land.

Rocks tumble down the slopes, crashing into the ranks of the enemy. A boulder from a trebuchet or a ferocious charge by knights will send the enemy soldiers flying and sprawling on the ground. Siege weapons destroy whole chunks of the mighty ramparts of the towns, and the falling debris will crush and kill all those who were unfortunate enough to stray too near.

Weather conditions and visibility change dynamically, which is not solely a visual element, but it also affects the gameplay, specifically the abilities of the different units and the outcome of their actions. Weather conditions or the time of the day will have a serious effect on the effectiveness of the archers or other ranged units.

Players have the opportunity to play the roles of the great Saracen leaders and rally their armies against the Crusaders. If you choose to play Scenarios, you can control the fate of these great commanders: fight their legendary battles – and try to change history.
