'Farming Simulator 19' (ALL) Rolls Out Competitive Farming Simulator League Game Mode

by Rainier on June 5, 2019 @ 4:01 p.m. PDT

Farming Simulator 19 offers the most striking and immersive visuals and effects to date, along with the deepest and most complete farming experience ever.

Farming Simulator 19 will feature, at launch, three distinct open worlds in which to develop and expand your farm, in solo or with friends: two entirely new environments will soon be revealed, as well as an all-improved version of the South American environment, which has been overhauled to take advantage of the new engine's capabilities.

Farming Simulator 19 takes the biggest step forward yet for the franchise, and will bring great improvements to nearly every aspect of the game, not just greatly enhanced graphics. Its content will be richer than ever. With the addition of new big brands, Farming Simulator 19's garage will feature the franchise's most extensive vehicle roster ever. The game will also introduce new farming activities, new animals including horses, brand new mechanics, as well as new crops - all of which will be revealed in great detail over the coming months and future events.

We previously reported that Farming Simulator 19 was planning its own eSports League, and Giants software has now rolled out a free update adding the competitive game mode.

The Farming Simulator League game mode, the official version of the competitive scene for Farming Simulator 19, has just released as part of a free update to the game.

The Farming Simulator League, a fully-fledged esports league with 10 tournaments across Europe. At the end of the season, the best teams will compete for the title of the Farming Simulator Champion and €100,000 in prizes. Every single tournament will not only grant circuit points for the best teams, but also wield big prizes, bringing the total prize pool for season two up to €250,000.

GIANTS Software has teamed up with some of the industry’s finest for the upcoming league, partnering with Logitech G, Intel, noblechairs as well as long term partner Nitrado to provide the best experience possible to both players and fans of the Farming Simulator League.

The game itself is changing as well. Not only will the new league be held for the first time on Farming Simulator 19, but it will also move from bale stacking to a competitive 3 vs 3 mode where teams challenge each other to determine who is the best on the field. The game will, of course, stand true to its roots in farming and combine real field work like harvesting with fun and challenging game elements.

Players will need to register their teams of three on the official website, then download the mode to play and test it. GIANTS Software are eagerly awaiting feedback from the most competitive Farming Simulator players out there, so the mode can be continuously updated ahead of the debut full-scale tournament at FarmCon 19, July 27 & 28.

GIANTS Software is greatly looking forward to seeing how players react to and enjoy this new mode as Farming Simulator enters the esports scene in earnest. The number one priority heading into FarmCon will be balancing and taking feedback on the mode through our official forums (English, German, French), with constant communication between the studio and players.
