'Outbreak: Epidemic' (ALL) Leaves Early Access Next Month, Also On Xbox One - Trailer

by Rainier on Jan. 31, 2020 @ 3:28 p.m. PST

Outbreak: Epidemic is a survival horror title with classic gameplay, strict inventory management, crushing enemies, horrific difficulty and more as you and a group of survivors try to survive the epidemic.

The infection spreads like never before in Outbreak: Epidemic, the latest co-op (PC only) and single-player (PC/Xbox One) survival horror nightmare.

Experience the nationwide epidemic as you and up to three friends lead Gwen, Renault, Kara and Tom through the undead apocalypse. Outbreak: Epidemic features the series classic tough-as-nails survival horror gameplay powered by the next-generation Outbreak engine across the Campaign Mode, Onslaught Mode and Experiments Mode.

Pick your survivor, level them up and take on greater challenges. You have one life - make it count!

Experience the nightmare close up through over-the-shoulder claustrophobic gameplay as you blast and slash your way through the epidemic.

Outbreak: Epidemic will leave Steam Early Access on Feb 12th, 2020 with the release of a brand new major content update!

You'll be fighting across six brand new scenarios in two new locations, the Tunnels and the Streets. After their harrowing escape from the underground morgue and repairing the train, the survivors find themselves trapped in the city's subway system. You'll need to blast your way up to the street-level if you want to escape. Then on the streets, the survivors will be confronted by both defusing a nuclear bomb and repairing their means of escape.

This update will bring  Outbreak: Epidemic  up to 18 total scenarios across the Campaign, Onslaught and Experiments modes. In addition, numerous gameplay fixes, tweaks and minor enhancements are included based on the months of testing the game has gone through. It's going to be a massive expansion to the series.

Like all other titles in the Outbreak series, this title will continue to get new content. I'll be looking for the players to suggest in the discussion boards what they'd like to see more of: features, weapons, scenarios or fixes! Your feedback will directly drive where the game goes from here! So grab some friends, get some playtime in and send me your feedback on the forums!
