This weekend, Summer Games Done Quick, the annual summer charity speedrunning marathon, returns in person for the first time since 2019.

The event will be hosted at the DoubleTree Hilton Bloomington-Minneapolis Hotel in Bloomington, Minnesota and broadcast on the Games Done Quick Twitch channel from Sunday, June 26th through Sunday, June 3rd. The full SGDQ 2022 schedule can be found here.

This year's SGDQ boasts an impressive lineup of speedruns, including a highly anticipated Elden Ring "All Remembrances" run and a bonus any% run if donation targets are reached. Other notable runs this year include Borderlands 2TunicOutlastHalo InfinitePhasmophobia, and a showcase of the recently discovered beta content from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

SGDQ 2022 will be held in support of Doctors Without Borders / Médecins Sans Frontières, an international humanitarian organization that provides medical aid all over the world during crises. During the event, donations can be made directly to the charity via the viewing page available at GamesDoneQuick.com. One hundred percent of all SGDQ 2022 donations go directly to Doctors Without Borders.

To date, Games Done Quick has raised over $37 million for charity across events. Recently, the organization has made headlines for raising $3.4 million during Awesome Games Done Quick 2022, breaking their record for most money raised in a single event. They also hosted the wildly popular blindfolded speedrun of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice during the same event.
