Team up with trusted companions to hunt for treasure, explore dangerous dungeons, face terrifying monsters and other cunning adventurers alike, and escape before being consumed by darkness and greed.

With a variety of characters to choose from, players will explore the mysterious darkness alone or with friends, gather loot, and battle monsters in this quest for victory and survival.

The alpha playtest of Project Crawl is scheduled from September 27 to September 29 (PDT) on Steam.

Anyone interested in participating can complete this survey for consideration to participate.

Eligible players can log into Steam on September 26 to download the alpha test version.

There's still a lot of missing features and placeholder content in the build, consider this a sneak peek at the core gameplay loop rather than a finished product. Everything is subject to change based on your input during this limited test.

• Build your Adventuring Party: From elusive rogues to mystical wizards, and versatile humans to nimble elves, Project Crawl provides a variety of thoughtfully designed classes and races. Build a balanced team to defeat bosses or ambush rival parties from the shadows. Experiment with different combinations to find an adventure suited to your playstyle.
• Explore the Immersive Dungeons: Delve into dungeons shrouded in darkness and explore ruins of forgotten keeps. Stealthily creep your way through the gloom or unleash magic to clear a path. Seize ancient treasures guarded by powerful foes and unearth the sinister mysteries hidden within.
• Tactical Combat: Lurk in the shadows, scout enemy positions and status through sight and sound. Prepare spells or apply poison to your daggers to gain the upper hand, but beware - in this place, the hunter can become the hunted.
• Get Out in One Piece: Vanquish fearsome monsters, discover priceless artifacts, claim legendary weapons – but escape this place with stories to tell or lose it all to the abyss. Lead your party (or what remains of it) from the ravenous darkness before it devours you completely.
• Glory and Riches: Power and fortune favor the brave. Trade or barter weapons and armor for piles of gold, or gear up for war to become the mightiest adventurer. The choice lies in your hands.
