To celebrate the return of Kobe on the NBA 2K cover, players will be able to channel their inner-Mamba mentality in the brand-new Mamba Moments mode. Recreate some of Kobe’s most captivating performances and progress through his transcendent journey from a young phenom to one of the greatest players of all time. In addition, NBA 2K24 will introduce ProPLAY - a groundbreaking new technology that directly translates NBA footage into NBA 2K24 gameplay. ProPLAY delivers animations and movements via on-court NBA action for a generational leap in authenticity on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. More details on Mamba Moments and ProPLAY will be released later this summer. NBA 2K24 will offer three editions of the game in various digital and physical formats: a Kobe Bryant Edition, a legendary Black Mamba Edition, and an all new, exclusive 25th Anniversary Edition, which includes a 12-month subscription to NBA League Pass.

2K revealed that NBA 2K24 Season 7 brings new content and rewards for MyCAREER, MyTEAM and The W Online* this Friday, May 17, with the NBA playoffs in full swing.

In NBA 2K24 Season 7, players can gain inspiration from Denver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray and cement their legacy by making big plays and hitting big shots when the lights are the brightest. In this season, NBA 2K24 brings special content in addition to a Def Jam Recordings x NBA 2K24 album drop that features four new tracks released exclusively in the game!

• MyCAREER adds new awards for players to chase along with exciting new gear as teams battle for the coveted Larry O’Brien Trophy. Turn up the heat with the Level 1 Free Agent Jimmy Butler card and cook defenders with his impressive array of mid-range and low-post skills. The Miami Heat’s star forward is the heart and soul of their team—who’s to say he can’t be the driving force for your roster? Butler plays with tenacity on every possession and has plenty of experience in the clutch. Few players can match his competitive energy and he’s unfazed by confrontation. If you’re searching for a proven All-Star with a well-rounded game, look no further.

Whether you build around Butler or another one of your NBA stars, every lineup needs a player that can get hot and fill up the stat sheet. Brooklyn Nets guard Cam Thomas has a knack for lacing 3s and erupting for 30 points a game.
