Pearl Abyss released an extensive 50-minute gameplay video for Crimson Desert, offering fans an in-depth look at the expansive world of Pywel.

This new footage provides an overview of the game’s vast, detailed landscapes, intense combat mechanics, and captivating narrative, further heightening excitement for the upcoming title. 

Step into the Engrossing Storyline of Kliff of the Greymanes 

The gameplay begins with Kliff, the game’s protagonist and leader of the Greymanes, embroiled in a fierce skirmish against the brutal Black Bears. The violent assault separates and scatters Kliff and his comrades Oongka, Yann, and Naira. 

In the city of Hernand, Kliff is guided to the mysterious realm known as the Abyss. In it, Kliff encounters the enigmatic Alustin and White Crow who bestows upon him a new and powerful gliding ability. 

The story’s intensity escalates as Kliff engages in a tense duel in Hernand and then also receives a request to investigate an incident there. During his journey, he crosses paths with the Goldleaf Merchants, and the story culminates in a heart-pounding battle against Split Horn, a formidable enemy who wields devastating and lightning-fast wind-based attacks.

Crimson Desert offers an immersive single-player campaign teeming with engaging quests based on the exploits of many mercenaries you’ll find available for hire. In addition, fans can expect a vast amount of more online multiplayer content as seen in traditional MMORPGs.

While the name “Crimson Desert” was originally a region within Black Desert, Crimson Desert is in fact not a sequel, but a whole new IP. The title started as the prequel to Black Desert, but during development Pearl Abyss began to create an entirely different storyline and a whole new set of characters.
