Arriving in the dream world of Dreamlight Valley, players will embark on an enchanting quest to restore a once-idyllic village now desolate and full of Night Thorns after a mysterious event called The Forgetting.

Uncover the mysterious secrets that led you to this new world and explore diverse realms inspired by classic Disney and Pixar worlds, while helping the iconic inhabitants of the town recover their lost memories.

In this experience, players will meet and build friendships with beloved characters from Mickey & Friends to Disney’s The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, and Moana to Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story and more. Dive in and immerse in a multitude of unique individualized story arcs and enjoy activities with some of the village’s most memorable characters, such as whipping up a delectable Disney-themed dishes alongside Remy from Disney and Pixar's Ratatouille inside of your own village restaurant, fishing at the fishing hole with Goofy, or growing vegetables from Wall•E's garden patch.  

Players will be able to design the Disney and Pixar villages of their dreams across multiple unique biomes, ranging from the snowy mountains of the Frosted Heights to the Peaceful Meadow and beyond – with a wealth of customization options for their avatars, homes, and villages. The game will feature an ever-evolving list of Disney-princess-inspired ballgowns, Mickey-adorned streetwear, Frozen-inspired antique kitchen designs, and more. 

Two classic Disney characters - Alice and Cheshire Cat - are joining Disney Dreamlight Valley with a brand-new Alice in Wonderland Realm coming on on April 23, 2025 to all platforms.

In this Wonderland Whimsy update, players will need to follow a mysterious white rabbit around Dreamlight Valley which will lead them to tumble down a rabbit hole into Wonderland! In this new Realm, players will meet Alice, lose track of her, and enlist the help of the mischievous Cheshire Cat to reunite with her. Along the way, players will contend with mysterious puzzles to track down their newly found allies, escape Wonderland, and officially welcome their new friends to Dreamlight Valley!

From one magical land to a galaxy far, far away, Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Premium Shop is getting a plethora of awesome new items inspired by Star Wars™ for a limited time only! From April 23 to May 14 players can pick up fashions from Naboo, including the adventurous R2-D2 companion, a lightsaber hand accessory, and all-new galactically-themed decoration items. 

The “Garden of Whimsy” Star Path will also add a ton of new content for players looking forward to their upcoming adventures with Alice and the Cheshire Cat. The new Star Path honors the spring season with bright floral arrangements, fairy-themed decoration items, and fashions from the Court of Hearts, just to name a few. 

Lastly, for players looking for new quality-of-life improvements, Wonderland Whimsy is sure to satisfy. Players will soon be able to “uncraft” items for a small Dreamlight cost, returning their core crafting components for future use. Additionally, any chest can now have its storage capacity increased using Dreamlight. Fans of meticulous decoration will also undoubtedly appreciate the newly improved placement grid for arranging furniture items and even meals on tables.
