'Gone Feral' Single-Player Playtest Is Now Open - Trailer

by Rainier on Sept. 30, 2026 @ 2:32 p.m. PDT

Become the horror villain in this stealth co-op roguelike as you Stalk your victims and take them out with brutal creativity, working solo or with friends online.

They left you for dead. They buried the truth. Now you’re back for revenge.

Gone Feral is a co-op stealth roguelike inspired by iconic 80’s horror flicks. Hunt solo or with friends, stalking your victims across iconic slasher inspired locations like suburbs and summer camps. Hide in plain sight, terrify your targets, and use everyday objects to exact your revenge.

Wield traditional weapons like knives and axes, or improvise with whatever’s to hand: a turkey leg, an electric guitar, even a severed arm. Get creative, blinding your victims with a flashlight or blowing up propane tanks. Your greatest weapon is fear. Frightened targets will panic, split up, or blunder into places they shouldn’t. Stoke terror and use it to your advantage.

Each time you die you’ll go back to the beginning, tackling the same levels with randomized locations, items and targets. Upgrade your character as you progress through the campaigns. Unlock new areas, special powers, extra weapons, morbid decorations for your lair, and more.

Gone Feral can be played solo, or you can team up with your friends online to get revenge together. Your targets are scattered across multiple unique locations. Go back to the summer camp where it all started, stalk the suburbs, or infiltrate a sprawling mansion.

The Gone Feral Single-Player Playtest is now open until October 31st!

This playtest includes the tutorial, Gas Station map and the Summer Camp.

It is still an early version so there will be bugs and missing features. That said, it has been in private playtesting for months now so it should be relatively stable and feature complete.

If you have any feedback or run into any issues, be sure to hop onto the Discord here! A co-op playtest will be coming later and people in the Discord will get access first! The playtest also pops up a feedback form after you play it (or from the main menu), filling that out is super helpful.

Lastly, you can invite your friends to the playtest as well! I hope you all have fun with the playtest!
