spilled beans on The Godfather II at the William Blair & Company's 28th Annual Growth Stock Conference but also revealed that Need For Speed: Undercover is coming later this year. Riccitiello himself was rather disappointed with last year's Prostreet, and since the Vancouver team has been split in two, each given a two year development cycle. When Ninja Gaiden developer Tomonobu Itagaki left Tecmo he let his discontent be heard, which apparently resulted in more employees leaving and filing lawsuit. Now
Tecmo has slapped Itagaki with a gag order, preventing him from disclosing or leaking information regarding its game software, sales, development or any other company secrets, using newspapers, magazines, and the Internet to criticize Tecmo software and employees, obstructing its business through slanderous remarks to third parties, nor can Itagaki accept interviews regarding Tecmo or talk to the press about the company.

The C&C series continues to thrive with Command & Conquer 3: Kane’s Wrath. As the expansion pack to C&C 3 Tiberium Wars, this RTS game returns to the Tiberium universe with Kane at the center of an epic new single player campaign.
According to EA producer Jim Vessella the turn-based Global Conquest game type wasn't popular with beta testers, and lacking control precision vs. a mouse, so it was decided to remove it and plug in a Challenge mode instead.

development of The Godfather II isn't exactly a secret, as it was originally announced as a trilogy. During the William Blair & Company’s 28th Annual Growth Stock Conference, EA CEO John Riccitiello revealed that "You can play this game both at the street level, much like a GTA-style game, but you can also play it top-down, almost like you’re in an RTS, controlling the strategy of the boroughs so you can see what’s going on."
