S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky is a prequel to its survival FPS S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl, bringing the players one year prior to the events of the original S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game in 2011. As we revealed a few days ago, Stalker Clear Sky is scheduled for release in August, and as promised GSC Game World confirmed today we will re-enter The Zone on Aug. 29, 2008.

According to Czech edition of OXM (thanks Jan) World in Conflict: Soviet Assault is the official name of the console edition and PC expansion pack, and add a brand new campaign (including playable Russian side), EndWar-like voice commands, new multiplayer maps (10 players only instead of original 16), and new units (chronoplane, boats). According to online retailer PLAY, WiC: Soviet Assault is scheduled for Oct. 2008.
