Harmonix and MTV Games announced the latest slate of downloadable tracks available for Rock Band. Starting the week of March 12, 2008 players will be download not 3 new master tracks, Black Tide's Shockwave, Paramore's Crushcrushcrush, and Serj Tankian's Beethoven's C***.

Salvation is a third-person shooter game set in the near-future where the world government has staged Judgment Day, replicated Christ and Antichrist in order to kill them off and assume ultimate power. Any dissidents are killed or sent to a cybernetic virtual Hell, causing a human to suffer unbearably.

In an interview with New Zealand gaming blog Geekpulp EA vice president of global marketing Todd Sitrin revealed that EA Sports not only has the new Facebreaker in development but also two additional new projects, "We actually have three new original IPs in development; the only one that's been announced is FaceBreaker. We haven't done an original IP at EA Sports for several years, not since back to Freekstyle Motorcycle."

Microsoft announced it is lowering the estimated retail price for its Xbox 360 family of consoles in Europe. From Friday, 14th March the X360 will retail at an entry-level of £159.99 for the Arcade version, £199.99 for the standard edition, while the Xbox 360 Elite will have an ERP of £259.99.
