Bluehole Studio has licensed Epic Games’ Unreal Engine 3 for its next-gen, flagship MMORPG for PC, codenamed Project S1.

An expansion to Warhammer: Mark of Chaos for the PC, Warhammer: Mark of Chaos - Battle March builds upon the game's tactical foundation to offer new units for each army as well as an original campaign and new online modes. The Xbox 360 version will be a standalone game and also include the original content from Warhammer: Mark of Chaos.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky is a prequel to its survival FPS S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl, bringing the players one year prior to the events of the original S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game in 2011. Square Enix announces that Arkanoid DS and Space Invaders Extreme are coming to Europe this Summer. Decades after their original release, both classic titles are getting revamped gfx, multiplayer modes, new power-ups, sound and other content.

When Sierra announced that it was bringing World in Conflict to consoles it revealed there would be extra content included, which then would eventually be brought to the PC as an expansion pack. According to Czech edition of OXM (thanks Jan) World in Conflict: Soviet Assault is the official name of the console edition and PC expansion pack, and add a brand new campaign (including playable Russian side), EndWar-like voice commands, new multiplayer maps (10 players only instead of original 16), and new units (chronoplane, boats). According to online retailer PLAY, WiC: Soviet Assault is scheduled for Oct. 2008.

SouthPeak Games has signed a publishing agreement with Lexis Numérique for its newest old-school 2D side-scroller action adventure game, Mister Slime, featuring clever “elastic” controls.

SOCOM Confrontation focuses on online play and the global community and clans that support it, with support for Tournaments, Clan Ladders, and Leader Boards. Additionally, players will be able to modify their appearance through facial and physical customization. The May issue of EGM reveals SOCOM Confrontation is slated for Sept. 16, 2008.

Evolution GT is a racing game that gives the player the opportunity to experience the life of a real racing driver, and the evolution of his alter ego throughout the course of his career. Euro publisher Black Bean announced that it is bringing Evolution GT to the NDS this summer.

The Chronicles of Spellborn is an MMORPG set in the Enclave of the Five Sacrifices, powered by the Unreal 2.5 Engine, with an FPS inspired combat system, which is skill based and commands full manual targeting. Spellborn's El Drijver tells us more about the combat system.
