Sony has rolled out its weekly PlayStation Store update with tons of new material. Just like on XBL, Harmonix has released the David Bowie songpack ($5.49 or $1.99/song) while Activision's Guitar Hero III: Boss Battles Track Pack is free. Motorstorm gets new vehicles and skins ($1.99), while Resistance: Fall of Man gets its second Map Pack (two new maps, each of which is playable in all sizes and all modes for $4.99). On top of that SCEA released the full game PAIN ($9.99) , and Bethesda made Elder Scrolls IV: Shivering Isles downloadable ($29.99).

Konami Assistant Producer Ryan Payton claims Metal Gear Solid 4 needs to sell over a million copies on the first day it goes on sale in order to recoup its costly production, but that MGS 4 might be last in a dying breed on console exclusives.
