'The Godfather 2' Development Confirmed

A few months back a financial analysis revealed that EA might already be working on The Godfather 2, but hadn't been heard from since. At a shareholder meeting, EA Games' Frank Gibeau confirmed this when responding to a question about mature titles, saying "The appeal of those types of games is growing as the demographics start to open up for that older demographic. We make products like Godfather 2, Army Of Two, Crysis - a lot of products that appeal to that older customer."

Target Stores Go Blu-ray Exclusive

After Blockbuster went Blu-ray back in June, Target seems to be putting its weight behind Sony's next-gen DVD format. Sony announced that starting in October, the Target brick & mortar stores will exclusively carry Blu-ray players "at least through the holiday season," and will also boost its selection of Blu-ray discs. However, Target's online store will still offer HD-DVDs at $299.
