Epic Games announced that it has acquired a majority interest in Warsaw, Poland-based game developer People Can Fly, best known for Painkiller, but most recently has been collaborating with Epic on the PC version of Gears of War. Revealed last week Microsoft officially announced a retail price drop for its Xbox 360 consoles in Europe, and launched the Xbox 360 Elite (€449,99). From Friday, 24th August 2007, the 20 GB Xbox 360 will be reduced by €50 to €349,99, while the Core version (no HD) will be reduced €20 to €279,99.
